Swedish vogue model Zits Studio to launch first perfume with Fredéric Malle

For its very first perfume since its creation in Stockholm in 1996, the Swedish vogue label relied on the expertise of Éditions de Parfum Frédéric Malle.

Frédéric Malle and Jonny Johansson, founder and inventive director of Zits Studios, met on the Café de Flore in Paris. Pushed by mutual admiration, the 2 males entrusted Suzy Le Helley, a younger fragrance designer at Symrise, who was educated by Annick Ménardo and Maurice Roucel, with the mission of composing a perfume combining the audacity and classicism of the model, counting on components of inspiration from Swedish tradition.

“Personally, that is my first main solo launch, and I thank Frédéric’s audacity and confidence in entrusting such a venture to a younger designer. I hope that this fragrance will attain a brand new era who’re much less acquainted with the nice classics and who could be curious to find a fantastic aldehyde floral, seen via a brand new prism, a brand new look,” defined Suzy Le Helley.

Overdosed in aldehydes, the scent reminds freshly washed laundry, with floral notes of rose, violet and orange blossom. Vanilla and peach comply with within the center whereas the bottom is sandalwood, incense, and musk.

“Frédéric Malle manages to mix the traditional and the avant-garde completely. For him, creativity at all times comes first. Nothing is dictated by advertising, just by the will to do lovely issues,” highlighted Johansson about this collaboration.
